The World Health Organization (WHO) and countries around the world are pooling resources and implementing procedures to fight the Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak.

From a global perspective, refer to the World Health Organization website to find updates and recommendations. Also, follow WHO on Twitter.

The World Health Organization is advising people to follow five simple steps to help prevent the spread of COVID-19:

  1. Wash your hands often
  2. Cough/sneeze into your elbow
  3. Don’t touch your face
  4. Stay more than 3 to 6 feet away from others
  5. Stay home if you feel sick

The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention provides a specific website for recommendations on how to mitigate the coronavirus outbreak. Check the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) | CDC website for additional details.

One of the best sources for situational awareness and global case distribution surrounding the COVID-19 numbers is run by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University. Please share!
